Started her musical career in the late 90s with a band called pre-school ( - 2003), then she moved on to form MUFAS with the singer from pre-school; Akira Owada.

 

Released 10 albums or so with 2 bands before shifting to digital market (discography), has contributed English lyrics to artists, TV ads and stuff, also provided band arrangement to young artists and music for charity project.

 

Writing columns and articles have been a huge part of her work as well. Music news and articles on the UK music and culture, interpretation at gigs and meetings within fashion and music industries were always in high demand. Fortunately those who work with her acknowledge that she has a great comprehension in what the artist wants to deliver and help people understand it clearly.

While coming back and forth to the UK, she gained the skills in transforming accents between English and Japanese, which makes her article accurate in capturing the atmosphere around the person. 

 

In 2013, Eco decided to go back to study and located herself in East London. In 2016 she finished a BA songwriting course at BIMM London and was awarded an honorary degree by University of West London. Yay.

At the end of 2016, moved to Berlin, Germany and participated in a couple of art projects (one supposedly exhibited in the US in 2017, US game music production etc...). After a year in Germany, relocated back to Tokyo and will have some news to come. Yay. Yay.
